The end is just the beginning…
My DYCP year has come to an end, but it feels like just the beginning…
Thanks to capital funding from North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme!
An Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant in 2024 for research, training and networking into collaborative landscape imagery has been invaluable as I journey towards a long-term vision for a rurally-based creative company.
Combining my expertise as a Creative Producer, and specialism in drawing and print as an Artist, to create original works of art and share my learning with others.
Learning from this Arts Council England funding has enabled me to unlock a capital grant from North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme (managed by Creative UK) to
develop an online service for artists, producers and creative companies
I’ll be investing the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme grant in equipment to create pre-recorded workshops and lead live webinars, and short-term expertise in online memberships.
“My conversation with Fran was REALLY helpful and allowed me to gain some clarity on some thoughts that have been swirling around for some time.
I feel like I know what I am working towards more, and am going to set aside a short amount of time weekly to journal these ideas”
Looking for an Artist Mentor or Creative Producer to help you:
unscramble the big ideas and
find clarity on your next steps?
Join me in 2025 to:
learn producing skills, including co-creation approaches & business skills
explore growth for a sustainable creative business
watch workshops in your own time with resources for multiple learning styles
receive accessible resources and take part in Q&As
take part in an online community for peer support & networking
With the support of North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme, and thanks to an Arts Council England DYCP grant, I’m so excited about sharing my learning with others who are looking to the future sustainability of their creativity, diversifying their income and making those big step changes in their creative practice.
I’ll be sharing my personal experiences of navigating a creative career amongst the backdrop of a Northumbrian town without a creative community, life with a young family and the creative potential we can find without a studio space!

COMING SOON in 2025!
“Fran is a strategic thinker who has an eye on the bigger picture at the same time as paying attention to the detail of project delivery. She enjoys collaboration and there are rich two-way benefits flowing between her work as an artist and as a producer”
